Changes to Two Tuis House in 2004
- Insect screens fitted
to most windows and the large bifold
doors in the main bedroom and living
room. Insects aren't much of a problem
except with the doors open after dusk in
summer.
- New Deadbolt and door
lock system installed. One key will
unlock all doors except the Storeroom and
Library.
- Security gate access
call system not working. Visitors must be
let in the hard way. Go to the gate with
the remote and press button to let them
in. This is actively being addressed by
the residents group.
- New Fisher &
Paykel Dishwasher installed in the
scullery. This needs to be turned on when
you arrive and off when you depart.
- Electric frying pan
now available in the kitchen. Much easier
to fry or stir-fry using this than a pan
on the hob.
- Garden border created
and planted up at the back and side of
the house. Plant tubs put on the main
bedroom balcony. Please water if
necessary.
- DVD Player added to
systems in the living room. Stereo will
play through the house from living room
system.
